Product Details
An elaborate necklacefrom the Victorian (ca1880s)era! This magnificent piece is crafted in 18k yellow gold, and has a very decorative festoon design. The necklace begins as a single strand of dainty cable chain, and then transitions into a double-stranded design. The top row of the chain features 11 circular shaped gold links, which are Etruscan in style. 6 of the circular links feature floral motifs, and the other 5 feature oval-shaped green tourmaline stones, which are held within bezel settings. The lower row of the chain features 5 additional circular floral-motif links, and three, textured gold balls. The balls graduate slightly in size, with the central ball being the largest. The necklace secures with a spring ring clasp which is stamped "ITALY" and with an "18K" purity mark. A gorgeous piece, this necklace would be perfect for a special occasion!

Measurements:The necklace measures about20" long from end to end. The longest section of the festoon necklace hangs 3/4" down from the chain.

Condition:The overall condition of the necklaceis excellent. There is no damage to the gold chain or dangling components. All of the stones are secure and intact, and the spring ring clasp is in working order.
