Born in Florence,Elsa Peretti's first introduction with her collection began atTiffany & Co.in 1974. During that time her collection debuted to high acclaim. Her inspiration in jewelry came from nature with elements such as bones, beans, hearts, scorpions, snakes, teardrops and sea-shells. Peretti's designs are translated in a wide variety of materials, however her most popular designs are her works in silver.

An eye-catching bangle from Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co.! Made of bright red and black lacquer over Japanese hardwood, this substantial cuff is both marvelous and unique! The red and black lacquer hues blend together seamlessly and resemble marble. The inside of the bangle features the Tiffany & Co. and Elsa Peretti signatures and is marked "JAPAN". A wonderful bangle, this piece would be perfect for a special occasion!

Measurements:The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 3/8" tall and 2 3/8" wide. The surface of the bangle measures 1" wide.

Condition:The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is noapparent damage to the Japanese hardwood or to the decorative red and black lacquer. There are no chips or scratches on the surface of the piece.
